Huber's Orchard & Winery, as a member of the Indiana Uplands Wine Trail, is pleased to present a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes into the growing and making of a great Dry Red wine. Join them April 13th or 14th as they take a deep dive into the bottles that house some of their favorite wines. You will get to join in the discussion with one of their Winemasters, as well as sample as you go!
Your experience begins in their Barrel Room where your Winemaster will begin with a tasting tour of several single varietals of Dry Red wines. Learn about what makes each one unique, how they work together in the perfect blend, and what makes the Indiana Uplands growing area (where we grow all of our grapes) so special. Your Winemaster will then expertly guide you through a Vertical Vintage tasting with different versions of some favorite blends so you can experience for yourself the difference each varietal makes, as well as understand how time and terroir figure into the making of a great blended wine. Some of the vintages available for this tasting come from the Huber personal wine cellar, and are in extremely short supply, if available at all!
Tickets are $45, plus tax and processing fees, and include a souvenir wine glass and 2019 Wine Trail Passport.
Experiences are available at 1p.m. and 3p.m. each day, and will be limited to 20 attendees. It is part of the Indiana Uplands Wine Trail's 2019 Travel the Trail series, featuring amazing experiences at our member wineries all year long.
